I so enjoyed spending time with Lisa and Rhett for their town and country engagement session. These two met in prep school and have been together ever since. I love couples that have been together for a long time, because their relationship is so full and has so much history to it already. If you didn't know I am a hopeless romantic :) They will be getting married this next summer at Georgetown Prep and I couldn't be happier for them. Enjoy! …

J & J Engagements: Northern Virginia Wedding Photographer
Oh these two were too much fun. So Joanna e-mails and says she was thinking it might be fun to take photos at the airport. And I was thinking, yes!!!! Her fiance owns Corcoran Aviation, a provider of private flights for top executives. I was in heaven. Poor Jonathon had to move the plane several times due to light, and other planes coming and going. And he had to put up with me calling him Chris half the time (Chris is his brother and I photographed his wedding last summer)! He was so good …
Amanda + Nick Engaged: Loudoun County Engagement Photographer
These two were so great to work with given that it was freezing outside and it had just snowed the previous day. Yes this was in October when mother nature decided it was time to throw everyone for a loop, have a good laugh, and then return to normal the next week. When we first started shooting Amanda was such a giggler. I don't think she was used to being treated like a star. After all, it probably feels strange to have someone follow you around like you're a famous celebrity all the …
Kasey + Jacob Engaged: Northern Virginia Photographer
Oh the story of these two is pretty juicy - at least it was to me :) So as I begin any session I usually ask my clients how the two met. I am a story person and I like to get to know my clients. These two met while Kasey was still in high school and Jacob was in college. Kasey was over at his brother's house babysitting and who pops in for a visit? Jacob. Not like he was scheming to date this cute high school girl or anything like that! Really he wasn't. It was completely by …
#1 for Mr. C : Northern Virginia Baby Photographer
Everything about this party for Mr. C was well planned and thought out. I loved the "ball" theme which was carried throughout all of the decorations. Mr. C. is named after his great grandfather and I think it's so sweet they had a special chair made just for his 1st birthday party. I hope these photos are always cherished as a remembrance of his 1st birthday. We started the session off with some formal portraits. Sweet big brother. Seriously, how fun does this look? I loved …
