This session was my first session in my new studio! It felt good to see months of hard work finally put to use and it was so great not to have to haul all of my newborn props to a location versus having the client come to me. Expect to see more newborn sessions coming up in my studio. Casey and Tony are such a fun couple to hang out with. They are young, energetic, and they are game for ANYTHING, which is a photographer's dream client. I did Casey's maternity shoot and it was just gorgeous …

Andrea + Pablo “Getting Married”: Loudoun County Wedding Photographer
Hanging out with these two was so much fun! They are just the sweetest, nicest, most fun couple to be around. I love that they wanted to incorporate their dog, Frank into their engagement session. How cute is he? Given that we can't have dogs in our house, I have to soak up every opportunity to be around animals, because I love them. Andrea and Pablo came as a referral from another great couple. Referrals are awesome because usually they are just as great as the people referring and that …
A Golden Family Session: Loudoun County Photographer, Harper’s Ferry West Virginia
The evening for the shoot, the weather was perfection. I just knew that the fates were with us as we ventured through Harper's Ferry, West Virginia. This is one of my favorite locations to shoot. It presents some difficulties, like the need for a permit, which isn't fun, but fortunately, the National Park Service is quite easy to work with and it's always better to be safe than sorry :) This family came as a referral from one of my clients last year. It was pleasure to spend time together …
Its gotta be vintage for Erin + Eric: Loudoun County Wedding Photographer
When I first met Erin and Eric, Erin came with a laptop, overflowing with beautiful vintage ideas for her wedding next May. I could tell she was going to be a fun bride and I loved every idea she shared with me. Poor Eric! We sat there for a good hour discussing decorating ideas, and colors schemes, and our favorite wedding blogs. You know you have a keeper when they just sit there, nod their heads, and smile like "it's all good." Given that Erin had so many ideas and needed someone to help …
Families are Forever: Loudoun County Photographer
When I look at these images from this session, I realize why I love my job so much. I love capturing real life, real emotion, real love. This family had all of these things and more. It's after a session like this that I sit back, take a deep breath and say to myself: "This is what it's all about." I just adore and love their little girl they call: "Birdie." Such an appropriate nickname for a girl who loves her little chicks. She's such a sweet momma to them. It was so nice to sit back, …
