I really enjoy catching up with clients that I don’t get to see very often. I first met this family when I did Mr. K’s newborn photos. It was a challenging photo session as he was six weeks old at the time and very alert. He is one of those boys who doesn’t want to miss a thing! When I look back, and as I walked through their home, and saw those images displayed like artwork, it reminded me of the gift that is photography; we can freeze time. They called me back to capture his 1st birthday party and what a celebration it was. If you know me, you know I LOVE Indian food. Really, I could live off of it. I love the spices, the flavors, the textures. The mom, Ruchi, prepared an amazing Indian feast for this first birthday party. She had two cakes, several hors ‘d oeuvres, and wonderful main dishes. It was to die for. And Mr. K wasn’t too sure what all the fuss was about, but near the end he figured out that the celebration was all for him. What a sweet boy and a wonderful family!
