I must confess, this little one almost made me baby hungry. How cute is she? She was so calm and peaceful throughout her session and it’s probably because we caught her in a nice little age window. Ideally the best time to photograph a newborn is within the first 10 days of life. This is because they are still so sleepy and easy to pose while they are this young. Also their skin is still fairly pure without the onset of baby acne which sometimes comes after two weeks. If you are pregnant and looking to schedule newborn photos, the best time to schedule them is now. If your baby is already here, the best thing to do is to wait until they are around three months old to photograph them.
