There is something magical about a baby turning one. They are coming into their own and have an opinion. They have definite likes and dislikes and aren’t afraid to let you know. They have a multitude of facial expressions, each one signaling their particular mood and feelings. One-year old babies are often curious but also careful at the same time. They are just discovering they are independent from mom and dad and that can be a little scary at times. They communicate freely their love for those in their family and a smile is a sign of a well loved baby. I LOVE photographing babies as they reach this important milestone. It is a privilege to be there to mark this occasion and to see their personalities bloom before your eyes. I sincerely enjoyed this little man. He was so well behaved and you can tell he knows he’s a loved and cherished boy. When photographing a one-year old it is great to find things that interest them from the food they like to eat to the toys they like to play with and his parents did a great job of incorporating these elements into his session.
