Pink sky at night, sailor’s delight: Virginia Wedding Photographer

July 2, 2013

Sometimes you just need to get away from it all and rest and rejuvenate.  After photographing seven weddings in May and five weddings in June, it is time to take a little R&R to recharge my creative juices and refocus my energy.  I absolutely love photographing weddings and it’s exhilarating, emotional, and so much fun and I can’t wait to share with you all the amazing images from those weddings at the end of this month.  At the same time, it requires a lot of energy, sweat, and hard work from start to finish.  I decided last year that the best way to recharge myself and prepare for the fall wedding season is to take a month off during the hottest month in Virginia, so July is my respite and Seattle is my location.

Incidentally, I happened to arrive during a large heatwave and it is a whopping 90 degrees here, which for the northwest is a little hot.  Taking time to enjoy nature and observe other forms of art in my home state of Washington inspires me.  What inspires you?
