I almost can’t even believe I’m typing this but not only were Emma & Ryan married, but they now have a baby!! It’s high time their wedding images get blogged from their wedding from 2012. In case you were thinking they had a honeymoon baby, they didn’t. I just realized I hadn’t shared these on my personal blog and before I share the lovely images of their new addition, I wanted to share their beautiful wedding that took place at Silverbrook Farm in Hillsboro, Virginia. I have to confess it was refreshing to go through these again because I realized how much I still loved each and every capture. Their wedding was lovely and simple, which made everything so relaxed and intimate. I loved everything about it. Emma wanted a bohemian feel to her wedding and she accomplished that by incorporating flowers into her hair and keeping the colors bright and cheerful. The florals were done by Holly Chapple and many were taken from her own garden.

For the photographers, the following shots were all achieved with off camera flash placed behind Emma and Ryan. It was actually almost dark out when these were done.
I remember that Emma’s mom was touched it had rained just a little as a testimony to the fact that love ones departed were indeed part of the day.
