From the moment I met Lauren & Steve, I knew immediately that I wanted to be part of their wedding day.\u00a0 It was an immediate connection and I just knew that their love story was one I wanted to tell through photographs.\u00a0 How they met just cracks me up!\u00a0 They were on a blind double date, but they weren’t each other’s dates.\u00a0 Half way through their blind date, they had a little pow wow with the other couple and everyone decided to switch their dates in the middle of the date!!\u00a0 Lauren & Steve hit it off immediately and the rest, as they say, is history.\u00a0 Lauren told me that she wanted an at home wedding on the property she grew up on.\u00a0 It was held in the middle of the woods surrounded by a canopy of trees, which were the very tress that sheltered Lauren & her sister during their campouts, forts, and the times that they would “run away from home.”\u00a0 What was also special about the property was that it was the very property her grandmother lived on as well.\u00a0 There was definitely a magical feeling in the air that day and I knew that The Knot magazine would want to pick this wedding up because not only was it unique, but Lauren & Steve have a love story that’s hard to top.\u00a0 Enjoy their images of this beautiful day and go pick up the spring\/ summer issue of The Knot magazine.<\/p>\n
