I love color… yes I do!\u00a0 When winter comes sometimes photographers go into hibernation, not necessarily on purpose, but we look outside at our bare trees and wonder when spring will come again.\u00a0 Not me.\u00a0 I have to admit that I love winter sessions.\u00a0 I really love winter sessions.\u00a0 I love snow, I love the bare landscape, and I also love challenging myself to find new locations or different possibilities.\u00a0 I think winter presents the perfect photography challenge.\u00a0\u00a0 And I do like a challenge \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

This particular location stays green all year long.\u00a0 You would never know that this shoot took place in December would you?\u00a0 It would be the prefect place for a winter wedding, bridals, family shoot, or even a trash the dress session.\u00a0\u00a0 I adore this spot and always find that the light is so delicious in the evening.\u00a0 Have you noticed that in the winter the light changes?\u00a0 Even though it’s cold outside, the evening sunsets have a warmer tone to them.\u00a0 It really can make a photo magical.\u00a0 The other plus to a winter session is the wardrobe.\u00a0 Who doesn’t love fabulous scarves, sweaters, the boots, the layers??\u00a0 I love all these elements and they add such great texture and dimension to your photos so when you think about photography and a good time to do it, don’t ever rule out winter \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

I have had the pleasure of getting to know this fun family this past year.\u00a0 Julie is the creative genius behind Simply Bows<\/span><\/a> and I have done a lot of photography for her web site.\u00a0 Anyway, I get to handle her products up close.\u00a0 Her bows are simply the best around.\u00a0 She can even monogram them and they make a perfect, personalized gift.\u00a0 She doesn’t just have bows, but wraps and clothing.\u00a0 I really like her stuff and I know you will too, so stop on over to her site to check out the goods!<\/p>\n
