I first had the pleasure of meeting Casey via the internet.\u00a0 She contacted me about her sister Emma’s wedding.\u00a0 This is a little unusual as typically the bride and groom are the ones that contact me and I thought it was so nice of her to do the research on wedding photographers for her sister.\u00a0 And fortunately for me, I get to photograph her sister’s wedding this September right up the road!<\/p>\n

At our first meeting Casey was glowing!\u00a0 She was obviously pregnant and just beautiful.\u00a0 I knew that a maternity shoot with her would be so fun.\u00a0 I have never done maternity photography before, but I’ve always wanted to try it and I have to say it was so much fun!\u00a0 Just look at how Casey and Tony are so happy at this soon to be 3rd member of their family.\u00a0 Casey showed up to the session with all of these clothes and props and it was a blast.\u00a0 It was only an hour long session and we got a ton of pics. \u00a0 I love it!!\u00a0 And click on the video at the end of the post to see a nice smattering from the session.<\/p>\n

Yesterday I e-mailed Casey and it went something like this…”I finished the 100+ pics last night and when I woke up in the a.m. I realized I didn’t like the tint of the grass…”\u00a0 It’s something so silly probably, but it’s just how I see it sometimes so the top version shows the old color of the grass (out of the camera, Nikon version) and the bottom version is the color I like for this session.\u00a0 I realized I wanted a look closer to film and film renders green colors a little differently.\u00a0 I processed these using VSCO<\/span><\/a><\/span> fuji 160.\u00a0 I love the fuji film conversion!\u00a0 It’s my fave.<\/p>\n
