{"id":9716,"date":"2015-05-14T04:26:31","date_gmt":"2015-05-14T04:26:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dujourblog.com\/blog\/?p=9716"},"modified":"2015-05-14T04:32:37","modified_gmt":"2015-05-14T04:32:37","slug":"cate-alex-married-at-whitehall-virginia-wedding-photographer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dujourblog.com\/blog\/weddings\/cate-alex-married-at-whitehall-virginia-wedding-photographer\/","title":{"rendered":"Cate &#038; Alex Married at Whitehall: Virginia Wedding Photographer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This was the first wedding of my 2015 season and it was a good one!\u00a0 Alex and Cate are the perfect pair.\u00a0 When they are together, their eyes light up and their smiles are huge.\u00a0 You can tell that these two, make each other happy.\u00a0 Their wedding was held at the beautiful <a href=\"www.historicwhitehall.com\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Historic Whitehall Manor<\/span><\/a> in Bluemont, Virginia.\u00a0 Despite the frigid temperatures, Cate was determined to get outdoor photos and that&#8217;s exactly what we did.\u00a0 She was so good about being freezing and we did their portraits in under 20 minutes.\u00a0 The connection these two have made my job so easy and effortless.<\/p>\n<p>Their family and friends were so much fun to spend time with too. Everyone was in good spirits and you could feel the love everywhere.\u00a0 This was the first time I have ever done a wedding where &#8220;The Princess Bride&#8221; was quoted in the vows.\u00a0 That tells you a little bit about the bride.\u00a0 She is the kind of girl you would want as your best friend.\u00a0 During the reception she grabbed the microphone and started rapping and I&#8217;m not talking about a bad karaoke version.\u00a0 She was rapping and it was good!\u00a0 I said to her: &#8220;I had no idea you could that.&#8221;\u00a0 She shrugged her shoulders and very nonchalantly said,&#8221;Eh, it&#8217;s just something that I do.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Cate and Alex, thank you so much for having me capture your wedding day.\u00a0 It was fun, beautiful, and very
