Its gotta be vintage for Erin + Eric: Loudoun County Wedding Photographer

May 15, 2012

When I first met Erin and Eric, Erin came with a laptop, overflowing with beautiful vintage ideas for her wedding next May.  I could tell she was going to be a fun bride and I loved every idea she shared with me.  Poor Eric!  We sat there for a good hour discussing decorating ideas, and colors schemes, and our favorite wedding blogs.  You know you have a keeper when they just sit there, nod their heads, and smile like “it’s all good.”  Given that Erin had so many ideas and needed someone to help her pull it all together, I sent her over to Kelley Truxel of www.eventstudiosva.com  Kelley is a wedding and events planner and is helping Erin pull off her vintage inspired Round Hill wedding next year. I am looking forward to it because whenever I get to work with a designer, I know that photography is going to be even better because designers know how to style a shoot or event.

When Erin and Eric were deciding on an engagement location, Erin wanted something vintage in feel and definitely fun so her choice was to go to the Lucketts Store, which is basically a huge open flea market + an indoor store.  It was a perfect fit for what she was looking for.  Additionally, while I don’t normally do vintage feeling edits, Erin wanted something more vintage in nature so if you are at all confused by my departure from my traditional edits, this is why.  It suits her and Eric perfectly and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
