I was so looking forward to this newborn session. It seems like when I do newborns, they come in a series of all girls or all boys. Recently I have been doing more girl newborn sessions and I had purchased some new baby boy props from etsy so I got to try them out. Whenever I go to any of the older cities in Virginia or D.C., I always make sure to bring a softbox with me. Sometimes you never know when you might need that artificial light and I always like to be prepared for any situation. Turns out my hunch was right and we needed that extra light.
This little guy was a good as they come. He barely fussed throughout the entire session and let me pose and play with him. I also loved that the parents came with their own ideas for the session too. I appreciate when my clients do some research and have ideas too. Oftentimes, that collaboration yields beautiful images. I really enjoyed my time with this family and am happy they are blessed with such a sweet boy.
