Okay I know, the pun was silly but I couldn’t resist. I loved everything about both of these sessions. First the maternity session was just perfect. We did the session at Oatlands Plantation in Leesburg. Such a pretty place for just about any shoot and they also do weddings there too. The weather was so great and I was worried because the day started off gray and gloomy but by the time I got there, the ground was this beautiful mist and the warm sun came out to play. JD and Rebecca are so sweet and fun. We had the best time there.
Fast forward a couple of weeks and they welcomed their first daughter into the world. She is so beautiful and was the easiest newborn session I have ever had in my studio. I think it’s an indication that her personality will be very agreeable and sweet too. I loved her Hokie outfit and we also played around with some new additions to my studio from Etsy. Love that place!
