This was my last wedding of 2011. Jenny and Belton were such a fun and sweet couple to capture. They have been together for 14 years. That’s almost as long as I’ve been married! I suppose that’s what made this wedding even more significant. These two have been together forever, have had two lovely children together, and could have continued as partners without the formality of marriage. There is a real permanence and commitment that isn’t there when you are not married and that’s why being married is so significant; it is your public declaration that you love each other and will forever. Perhaps Brad and Angelina should take their cue from these two right?? I loved seeing that these two were so excited to get married. They were really giddy and just so pleased that they were able to share their wedding with their family and friends. Jenny and Belton, thank you for sharing your day with me and allowing me to capture your wedding. May you be blessed with many more years together!
This was was Jenny’s way of incorporating her mom into her day. I loved that she had her ring on her wrist.
